Recombinant protein services cover gene synthesis coordination, expression testing and purification. The goal is a research-grade protein suitable for assays, structural work or antibody programs.
Customers may provide plasmids or request construct design based on the target sequence. Tag position (N- or C-terminal His, Fc or other) should be justified by the downstream purification and the assay.
Yield estimates before a test expression are not treated as commitments. We report what the test produces and then discuss scale.
Recombinant protein work on this site is for research. It is not a catalog of off-the-shelf biologics and it is not a GMP manufacturing line. If the same target later needs a peptide antigen, that is a separate custom peptide synthesis project.
Construct review covers codon usage for the chosen host, tag choice (His, GST, Fc or other) and whether a solubility partner is worth trying. Those decisions are written into the scope so that a later purification page matches what was actually expressed.
From sequence to construct
You can send an accession, a codon-optimized ORF or an existing plasmid. If gene synthesis is included, the host and tag should already be chosen. Changing the host after the gene is made can waste both time and the open reading frame.
Using the protein as an immunogen
A recombinant protein can enter an antibody program when the fold matters. Peptide antigens remain the better tool for a known linear epitope. Say which path you intend so that buffer, endotoxin discussion and aliquot size match the immunization plan.
