HPLC purity is an area-percent under a stated method. Mass spectrometry confirms that the main species has the expected molecular weight, including modifications. Those two results answer different questions and should not be collapsed into a single “quality score.” Peptide content, water and counter-ion are separate measurements and are not implied by HPLC percent.
If you are comparing a new lot to an old supplier chromatogram, send the historical method with the inquiry. A 95% figure without wavelength, column and gradient is not a comparable specification. The quality-control service page states which tests are routine and which are arranged only when requested.
